When it comes to burger recipes, it’s always great to try out new and exciting ideas. We have researched some delicious burger combinations for you to try out at home, plus paired with our soft and buttery flavoured Brioche Hamburger Buns, you’ll be sure to impress the family!
This combination is a true New Zealand staple that takes the regular beef burger to the next level. Bringing together beetroot and fried egg, along with a juicy beef patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, grilled pineapple and some tomato sauce.
Lamb is a key ingredient here in New Zealand, and this combination showcases its flavours beautifully. Start with a lamb patty, topped with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion and a sprinkle of feta cheese. The star of the show is the mint yoghurt sauce which gives a refreshing tang to the burger.
A fish burger combination is a must try. Using a grilled fish fillet (like hoki or snapper), plus some coleslaw mix, and a dollop of tartare sauce. This burger combination is perfect for those who prefer a lighter feel to their burgers.
Sometimes simplicity is the key, and that’s where this Chicken and Avocado Burger shines. Switch out the traditional beef for a grilled chicken breast, and top with a creamy avocado, fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and top with a garlic aioli that ties everything together.
The most important part to all burger recipes, is the burger bun you use! You can use the traditional Hamburger Buns, or you could elevate the flavour even further with our Brioche Hamburger Buns.
